BNW is a self-lubricating material, it has high load carrying capabilities and is a sliding bushing which works well in a non-lubricated condition. The bushing layer consists of a PTFE/high-tension synthetic fiber liner. The backing layer consists of fiberglass impregnated into epoxy resin for high temperature. These bushings are designed for slow speed/under heavy load applications. These Bushings cannot be machined.

Nylatron is a nylon material with added molybdenum disulfide lubricant powder. Nylatron bearings give advantages over standard nylon such as superior wear resistance at an acceptable price. Nylatron is a self-lubricating nylon.

NYLON -Molded Nylon 101 sleeve (plain), flange, and thrust bearings provide an economical alternative where performance characteristics and the strength of metal bearings are not required. Bushings & Bars Direct carries a full line of sleeve (plain), flange, and thrust styles to accommodate shafts up to 1" diameter.

Bushings & Bars Direct Nylon Bearings inner diameters are measured after installation in a nominal housing.
